Privacy Policy
Where's Luke? is a friend-finder and ski route navigation app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we don't do.
What we collect
- Precise location (GPS). Only while the app is open in the foreground. We do not use background or “Always” location. When you close the app, we stop collecting your location.
- Profile. Your display name and self-declared ski ability level (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
- Group membership. Which ski group you’ve joined, so we can show the right people on your map.
Why we collect it
To make the app work: to show your position to the other members of your ski group, and to route you to a friend or a mountain restaurant. That’s it.
Who it’s shared with
- Your live location is shared with the members of your current ski group, and only them.
- We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
- We do not sell your data, ever.
How long we keep it
We keep your profile and group membership for as long as your account is active. Location history is retained only as long as needed to keep the live map working for your group; when you leave a group or close the app for long enough, it’s no longer visible to anyone.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, your group membership and your location history.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.
